Port Said University Council held its regular meeting on Sunday morning, November 30, 2025, chaired by Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, the University President, and attended by Major General Moheb Habashi, the Governor of Port Said, along with members of the Council.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh welcomed the Governor and emphasized the University’s strong commitment to serving the Port Said community. He reviewed the most notable achievements of November and noted that several new projects within the University are set to be inaugurated in December. He also announced the University’s readiness to host the upcoming regular meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities.
The University President discussed ongoing cooperation with the Port Said Governorate in preparing for the National Day celebrations, including the inauguration of University-led projects. He also affirmed continued coordination with executive bodies to support national initiatives and strengthen the University’s role in community service.
Major General Moheb Habashi praised the University’s contributions and commended Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh’s leadership and the positive momentum it has brought to the institution, emphasizing that the University is a key partner in implementing community-focused initiatives.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Council reviewed the agenda and adopted the necessary decisions.
