
Port Said University Council held its regular meeting, chaired by Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of the University, and attended by Major General Mohib Habashi, Governor of Port Said. During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mounia Alali, International Relations Advisor (Arab Universities) at the University of Piedmont Orientale, Italy, was honored as the first visiting professor under the Visiting Professors Program. She received the University Shield in recognition of her cooperation and her distinguished lecture at the Faculty of Arts.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh reviewed the university’s recent achievements, highlighting developments in the University Hospital, student residences, and new construction projects. He also commended the International Relations team for their efforts and the growing number of international students, and announced the university’s membership in the Regional Health Council.
For her part, Prof. Dr. Mounia Alali expressed her gratitude for the warm reception and honor, praising the university’s advanced facilities and outstanding academic staff.
In conclusion, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh reaffirmed the university’s commitment to academic excellence, research advancement, and international collaboration through the Visiting Professors Program and other academic exchange initiatives.
