Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, attended the closing ceremony of the Egyptian-French Forum for Scientific and University Cooperation. The event was also attended by Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Mr. Eric Chevallier, French Ambassador to Cairo; Prof. Dr. Mustafa Refaat, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities; along with several higher education leaders, presidents of Egyptian universities, and representatives of French universities.
Participants highlighted the importance of strengthening academic and research cooperation between Egyptian and French universities to build youth capacities and implement joint educational programs that support the advancement of higher education in both countries.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh expressed his pleasure in participating in this distinguished event, praising the Minister’s continuous support and follow-up. He also extended his appreciation to the French Ambassador for his efforts in making the forum a success, reaffirming the university’s commitment to expanding its partnerships with French universities as part of its vision to enhance higher education and scientific research, in line with Egypt’s vision for a globally competitive and advanced education system.
