President of Port Said University: We Are Working to Make the University an English-Speaking University.

Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, emphasized that the university is striving to become an English-speaking institution, in line with its vision of development, excellence, and internationalization, and in response to the growing number of international students joining its programs.

As part of this vision, the University Center for Career Development, headed by Prof. Dr. Heba Youssef Soliman, launched the Language Club, which held its first interactive session for learning and practicing English, with the participation of enthusiastic volunteers from various university faculties.

The session, led by volunteer Nada Abdel Hafeez in collaboration with the center’s trainers, featured engaging linguistic activities and games that encouraged students to communicate confidently in English and enhance their language and communication skills.

The club will continue to hold weekly sessions at the center, offering students opportunities to improve their language proficiency and interact with international peers and visiting faculty members.

Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh stressed that learning languages—especially English—has become a fundamental skill for shaping a globally competitive university graduate, reaffirming the university’s commitment to supporting its students to represent Egypt and Port Said University in international forums.
