Port Said University participated with seven outstanding student teams in the Egyptian Collegiate Programming Contest (ECPC Finals), hosted by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in Alexandria. The competition featured 304 teams representing 78 universities and institutes from across the country.
Under the auspice of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of the University, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, the university achieved an unprecedented accomplishment with one of its teams winning the bronze medal for the first time in its history, qualifying for participation in the Arab and African Collegiate Programming Contest (ACPC), one of the largest regional competitions in this field.
The bronze medal-winning team:
