
The Supreme Council for the Review of Clinical Medical Research Ethics organized a workshop for the Suez Canal and Sinai Universities Alliance on Medical Research Ethics under the Egyptian Law Regulating Clinical Medical Research at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Suez Canal University, on Monday, May 12, in the Grand Conference Hall of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Suez Canal University.
The workshop was held under the auspice of Prof. Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saad Zaghloul, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, at the kind invitation of Prof. Dr. Magda Hegras, former Acting President of Suez Canal University and former Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.
The workshop was attended by Dr. Tamer Hafnawy, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Medical Research Ethics, and Dr. Azza Saleh. Wafaa Abdel Aal, members of the Supreme Council for the Review of Clinical Medical Research Ethics. Also, representatives of the Suez Canal and Sinai Universities Alliance from the health faculties of these universities participated in the meeting. It is worth noting that the Port Said University delegation was represented by Prof. Heba Youssef, General Supervisor of the Health Sector at Port Said University; Prof. Amal Bakr, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Amal Sobhi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Nursing; Prof. Iman Shaheen, Prof. Nagat Salama, and Prof. Rehab, members of the Faculty of Nursing Ethics Committee.
