Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, inaugurated the activities of the seventh training camp organized by the Entrepreneurship Club at Port Said University for (3) days during the period from 23-25/2/2025 under the title ((Generating Ideas: Your Idea Is Your Company)), at the University Theater headquarters in Port Fouad.
The President of the University praised the training camp for supporting the idea of entrepreneurship and encouraging innovators from university students
Assist. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Zein, Director of the Entrepreneurship Club at the University, mentioned the importance of qualifying young students and researchers to participate in international competitions in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship, extending greetings and appreciation to Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of the University, for supporting youth’s ideas and innovations and supporting geniuses and innovators at the university.
The training was conducted by Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafer, an expert in entrepreneurship and a consultant for small and micro projects, where he provided an introduction to entrepreneurship, types of projects, methods of generating different ideas, and the Swot model for evaluating ideas.
The training camp was attended on the first day by (268) trainees from students and researchers, (33) trainees from employees, and (19) trainees from faculty members and their assistants at the university. At the end of the first day, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of the University, expressed his happiness with holding these events and training camps, which reflects the university’s commitment to encouraging innovation and initiative among young people. He congratulated Dr. Mohamed Zein, Director of the Entrepreneurship Club at the University, and Dr. Heba Abdel-Ati, Deputy Director of the Club, appreciating their efforts in holding these events.
