Under the auspice of Dr Prof. Ayman Ibrahim, president of the university, the inauguration of the initiative “youth toward development” took place today. The inauguration was attended by Dr Prof. Galal Salem, vice-president for education and student affairs, Dr Prof. Rawia Rizq, vice-president for postgraduate studies and scientific research, and Dr Heba Suleiman, coordinator of the sustainable development committee at the university. The initiative is organized by the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development in coordination with the Supreme Council of Universities within the framework of the state’s orientation to empower young people and involve them in creating a better future for Egypt. Notably to say, the initiative (the Human Development Forum) is the best evidence of the presence of Port Said University among the major Egyptian universities through the success of its students in these great initiatives.
