
Port Said University, in cooperation with the Popular and Military Defense Forces Command and the university’s Military Education Department, organized a field visit to Arish city. The visit came in implementation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to enhance national awareness among young people and connect them with the ongoing development efforts in Sinai.
The visit was held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, and was organized by Colonel Abram Babawy, Director of the Military Education Department, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, General Supervisor of the Student Welfare Sector.
The program included visits to several national and development projects in Arish, most notably Arish Seawater Desalination Plant and Arish Port, where the students received detailed briefings on the development and service projects completed in the governorate.
Students from Port Said University expressed their delight at visiting Arish and learning firsthand about the scale of the development projects in North Sinai, emphasizing how the visit strengthened their sense of belonging and national awareness.
At the end of the visit, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the Popular and Military Defense Forces and the Military Education Department at the university for supporting this important visit.
