Updating the Academic Regulations

The Postgraduate Studies and Research Council was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr Rawya Rizk, in the presence of deans, vice deans of faculties for postgraduate studies and research, the director of the digital library, and general managers of the departments of the postgraduate studies and research sector at the university.

The Postgraduate Studies and Research Council discussed topics related to improving the level of the educational process in graduate studies at the university. Prof. Dr Rawya Rizk mentioned the importance of updating the academic regulations and expanding the establishment of interdisciplinary and professional programs to keep pace with the labor market. In this regard, it was approved to establish the professional program for elderly care at the Faculty of Nursing, in addition to discussing the need to update the academic regulations that have been in place for more than five years to keep pace with the modern requirements of the labor market. It was also emphasized that it is necessary to complete the announcement of the results of the first semester exams for graduate studies. The university’s libraries committee was also held, which discussed the plan to develop scientific journals at the university to reach international standards in preparation for their inclusion on global platforms. The council approved the registration of 14 doctoral theses and 42 master’s theses in various faculties of the university.
