
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, sent a congratulatory telegram to his students from the university’s scout team after they achieved first place in the final scouting meeting for Egyptian universities, held from May 11 to May 14, 2025, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports.
The delegation won first place for Egyptian universities and a certificate of appreciation for the excellence of Port Said University Scout Center and the ranger’s department official in the General Administration of Student Care. Both the Assistant Delegation Leader, Commander Tawfiq El Gamal, Faculty of Science, received the ideal scout at the meeting level, and Mazen Saleh, Faculty of Science, received the ideal scout at the delegation level.
The university also won the Ideal Supervisor Award at the meeting level and a certificate of appreciation for Port Said University and the members of the Scout Center.
Under the supervision of Assist Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi El Shafei, Supervisor of the Student Care Sector at the University. Port Said: Mr. Mohamed Ali El-Sawaf, Head of the Scout Department at the General Administration of Student Care; Commander Mohamed Farag Badawi, Head of the Scout Training Office at Port Said University; Commissioner General of National Training at the Central Male Association; Commander Hozaifa Ahmed Abu El-Nasr, Delegation Leader.
The University President also sent a congratulatory telegram to the Student Care Sector, under the supervision of Assist Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, Supervisor of Student Care Sector Affairs, and to Mr. Mohamed El-Khamisi, Director of the Scientific and Technological Activities Department.
This congratulations were given on the occasion of the Green Economy Treasures project winning third place among Egyptian universities. The project was prepared by students Noreen Tariq Ali Abdel Latif, Faculty of Specific Education, and Abdo Mohamed Abdo Mahmoud El-Zend, Faculty of Specific Education (Department of Educational Technology and Computers). The project was titled “Innovation to Serve the Environment in the Field of Safe Disposal of Electronic Waste.”
