The National Program for Women in Leadership

Based on the cooperation between the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, the National Council for Women, and the National Institute for Sustainable Development and Governance, the National Program for Women in Leadership was launched as a joint program between the aforementioned agencies, which aims to train 300 women leaders in 70 governmental and academic agencies. In this accordance, the cooperation protocol between Port Said University and the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, the program selected seven women leaders at the university to join the program, and they are:

Prof. Dr Naglaa Hawass, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education, Port Said University.

Prof. Dr Rasha Anani, Director of the Strategic Planning Center at Port Said University.

Prof. Dr Weam Othman, Head of the Department of Political Science at the Faculty of Commerce and Director of the Center for Innovation in Entrepreneurship at Port Said University.

Prof. Dr Najat Shalabi, Director of the Center for Capacity Development of Faculty Members and Leadership at Port Said University.

Dr Heba Soliman, Director of the Professional Development Center at Port Said University.

Dr Manal Shalaby, General Coordinator of the National Strategic Committee for Population and Development at Port Said University.

Dr Sherine El-Kholy, Director of the Strategic Planning Unit at the Faculty of Medicine, Port Said University.

The candidates completed the entire training program, which lasted for eight months from June 2023 until February 29, 2024, and certificates of passing the program were delivered.
