The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology issued a decision to reform the National Committee for New and Advanced Materials, and the new composition included Dr Mahmoud Sayed Abdel-Sadek, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science for Graduate Studies and Research at South Valley University in Qena, as a member of the committee for the second consecutive session. The new formation included 15 members, as follow:

- Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Abdel Wahab Yousef at the National Research Center
