The first meeting of the Interdisciplinary Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities for the 2025-2028 session was held today, Monday, February 10, 2025, at the headquarters of the Supreme Council of Universities, headed by Prof. Dr Essam Khamis Ibrahim, and the secretariat of Prof. Dr Mohamed Salehin. The meeting was attended by members of the committee, representing an elite group of professors, scientists and experts from various faculties of Egyptian universities, in addition to the participation of a number of prominent industry experts. The establishment of the Interdisciplinary Sector Committee comes in response to recent changes in scientific specializations and the increasing needs of the labor market, which contributes to enhancing integration between different sciences and meeting the requirements of sustainable development.
