Under the auspice of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, and Assist Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, General Supervisor of the Student Activities Sector, the university participated in the “Tamkeen” Program for Egyptian Universities, in the presence and under the supervision of Dr. Sherine Yahya, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education for Disability Affairs, and Dr. Rana Hilali. The training was presented by Dr. Shorouk Hanafi from Zayed University in the UAE, who presented practical sessions using a design thinking methodology to develop sustainable services that address the needs of students with disabilities. Professor Mohamed Tamam, Director of the Office for People with Disabilities (Able to Differ), also attended from Port Said University.
