The supreme council of universities held the monthly at New Valley University on Saturday. The meeting was held under the presidential of Dr Prof. Khalid Abdul Ghafour, minister of higher education and research, and was attended by Dr Prof. Mohamad Latif, chairman for the supreme council of universities, and presidents of the universities. The council discussed the issues of common interest and affirmed on:
- Cooperation and integration between university hospitals and the hospitals of the Ministry of Health and Population to improve medical services provided to citizens in all governorates of the Republic
- Activating the role of universities in confronting extremist ideas
- Cooperation protocols for three universities with the New Valley
