Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Saleh, President of Port Said University, participated in the regular meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the headquarters of Sadat City University. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and attended by Dr. Mustafa Refaat, Secretary of the Council, and members of the Council.
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research emphasized the need for universities to develop plans for various student activities (sports, arts, cultural, and social).
In preparation for the start of the new academic year 2025/2026, Dr. Ayman Ashour directed early preparations for the new academic year and for universities to announce their academic schedules well in advance of the start of the academic year, so that students can familiarize themselves with them well in advance of the start of classes.
