
Port Said University hosted the “Strategy and National Security” training course as part of the fruitful cooperation between the University and the Military Academy for Graduate and Strategic Studies, under the auspice of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of the University.
The course was organized through the collaboration of Colonel Abram Babawy, Director of Military Education at the University, and the University Center for Professional Development and Training, led by Prof. Dr. Heba Youssef Suleiman, Director of the Center.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh welcomed Major General Dr. Hossam El-Din Anwar and Brigadier General Dr. Haitham El-Tawajni, advisors from the Military Academy for Graduate and Strategic Studies, expressing his appreciation for the strong partnership between the two institutions and highlighting the importance of such courses in enhancing national awareness and strategic thinking among university members.
Prof. Dr. Heba Youssef Suleiman expressed her pleasure at the high level of participation from across the University, including deans, vice-deans, faculty members, administrative staff, and representatives from the industrial, health, and administrative sectors in Port Said Governorate. She commended their enthusiasm to benefit from the expertise of the distinguished lecturers.
The course lectures, held at the University Theater, covered a range of important national and strategic topics, reflecting a high level of academic and practical experience. The sessions contributed to reinforcing the values of loyalty and belonging, while deepening participants’ understanding of Egyptian national security issues.
At the conclusion of the first day, the course instructors expressed their appreciation to the members of Port Said University, led by Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, for their active participation and engagement. They reaffirmed their patriotism and commitment to supporting Egypt’s wise political leadership.
