The Science and Technology Development Funding Authority (STDF) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Fourth Research Call of the Basic Sciences Program.
This call aims to stimulate scientific research in this vital field and to build innovative research teams capable of addressing key challenges—thereby enhancing the quality and impact of scientific research in Egypt.
Terms
- Funding will be provided for the best research proposals, with a maximum of EGP 3 million per project.
- Projects must fall within the fields of basic sciences (Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Geology).
- The project duration should be no less than two years and no more than three years.
- All submitted technical proposals will be competitively evaluated by specialized reviewers in accordance with the Authority’s regulations.
Deadline for submitting research proposals: November 17, 2025 – 2:00 PM
