Prof. Sherif is a university professor who is deeply interested in bridging applied scientific research with industry, the job market, and innovation. Prof.Sherif strives to utilize his experiences and skills in all of his endeavors. In addition to his constant pursuit of progress and success in any field related to academic and research advancement, serving the public interest is also a priority for him.

Prof.Sherif has been fortunate to have numerous opportunities to employ these skills and experiences in the positions He has held. His most recent position was as the Head of the Cultural Affairs and Missions Sector at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. He also had the honor of being appointed to oversee the National Commission for Education, Science, and Culture (UNESCO, ISESCO, CESCO), serving as the Chairman of the Executive Office of the National Commission. Additionally, Prof.Sherif was entrusted with overseeing the establishment of the International University City project in Egypt. Previously, Prof. Sherif served as the President of the Central Administration for Foreign Students at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Prof.Sherif’s career has allowed him to take on various other roles, such as the Director of the Higher Education Development Center and the Project Management Unit, the Head of the Internal Government Excellence Award Team, and an Economic Advisor to the Nile International Certificate Unit at the Education Development Fund under the Prime Minister’s Office. Through these positions, Prof.Sherif has gained significant practical and managerial experience.

These roles, combined with his academic and practical experience of over 25 years, have played a crucial role in honing his managerial skills and strengthening his belief that the key to success and achieving desired outcomes resulting from the connection between applied scientific research, industry, the job market, and innovation lies in sound strategic planning and institutional development based on scientific foundations.
