Seminar on the Dangers and Harms of Synthetic Drug Abuse

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, Supervisor of the Student Welfare Sector and Coordinator of the Students for Egypt Family at the University, and Prof. Dr. Rehab Abdel Aziz, Dean of the Faculty of Education, the General Administration for Student Welfare – Social Activity Department – ​​organized its first awareness seminar on the dangers and harms of synthetic drug abuse.

The seminar was presented by Prof. Dr. Heba Youssef, Professor of Toxicology, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Graduate Studies, and General Supervisor of the University’s Medical Sector. She explained to the students the psychological, mental, and physical risks, in addition to the social and behavioral harms resulting from drug abuse. The seminar witnessed positive interaction from the students.

This took place in the presence of Prof. Dr. Naglaa Hawas, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Heba El-Naghi, Coordinator of Student Activities at the Faculty.

The seminar was prepared and implemented by the Social Activity Department, under the supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Al-Nims, Director of the Department, Ms. Azza Othman, Coordinator of the Awareness Program at the Student Welfare Department.
