The supreme council of universities held its periodical meeting on Saturday, September 24, 2022. The meeting was held under the presidential of Dr Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, minister of higher education and research, and was attended by Dr Prof. Mohamad Latif, chairman for the supreme council of universities, and presidents of the universities. The council thanked the Suez Canal University family, headed by Dr. El- Sayed el- Sharqawy, President of the University, to host the meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities. The Minister of Higher Education affirmed the readiness of all universities and institutes for the first term of the academic year 2022/2023, and stressed the necessity of the commitment of faculty members and the supporting body in universities to attend, to ensure discipline and the successful conduct of the academic year.
