
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, received the Political Participation Committee of the National Council for Women, headed by Representative Prof. Dr. Rasha Mahdi. The committee was represented by Major General Refaat Qamssan, former advisor to the Prime Minister and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Authority of the National Elections Authority and a consultant to the Political Participation Committee, and Counselor Dina El-Gendy, a lawyer at the Court of Cassation and the Supreme Constitutional Court and a member of the committee launching the initiative “Together We Protect It with Awareness”. Port Said University was the first Egyptian university to host the initiative’s activities. The guests were received by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel Qader, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences; Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce; Prof. Samia Moselhy, Secretary General of the University; and Prof. Dr. Heba Soliman, Director of Training at the University and a member of the Political Participation Committee of the National Council for Women. The event was attended by a large number of faculty members, administrative staff, and students from various faculties of the university.
