Under the auspice Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University,
and Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, Supervisor of the Student Welfare Sector, the Sports Activities Department at the university, in cooperation with the Student Unions Department of the General Administration for Student Welfare, organized a Ramadan sports tournament for university students and international students.
The tournament included competitions in five-a-side football (futsal), table tennis, and chess, and was held from March 2 to March 5, 2026, at the indoor hall of the Faculty of Sports Sciences.
The tournament was hosted by Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Qader, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences.
The event was organized by the Sports Activities Department under the supervision of:
Mr. Ayman Samir – Director of the Sports Activities Department
Mr. Ahmed Raouf – Sports Specialist
Mr. Islam Taha – Sports Specialist
Mr. Mohamed Awad – Sports Specialist
Mr. Ibrahim El-Nems, Director of the Social Activities Department, also contributed to the organization of the tournament.
