Raise Student Awareness and Develop Their Skills

Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, directed the organization of a series of activities aimed at raising student awareness and developing their essential skills.

A first aid campaign was held at the Faculty of Management Technology and Information Systems, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi and hosted by Prof. Dr. Yasser Ahmed Hamed. The campaign was led by Dr. Mohamed El-Saeed and witnessed wide participation from students.

A seminar on intellectual property was also organized, attended by Prof. Dr. Badr Abdel Aziz Badr, Prof. Dr. Rehab Abdel Aziz, Prof. Dr. Sherine Mohamed Souki, and Prof. Dr. Naglaa Hawas. The session was presented by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Maher and Dr. Badour Abdel Hady, and supervised by Mr. Mohamed El-Khamisi.

A scientific field visit was arranged to the fish farms in Al-Fayrouz, supervised by Colonel Abram Babawi and Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, to introduce students to the state’s efforts in strengthening food security.

The Faculty of Engineering welcomed students from Alam El-Din Secondary School for Girls in an educational visit led by Prof. Dr. Taha Farag. The visit included tours of the faculty’s laboratories and an introduction to its renewable energy projects.

At the Faculty of Specific Education, a seminar on the impact of social media was held, attended by Professor Ahmed El-Rouby and supervised by Professor Abeer El-Khamisy. The seminar was delivered by Dr. Abdel-Latif Sayed Hassanin.

Additionally, the Faculty of Sports Sciences hosted a seminar titled “We Miss Our Morals”, under the auspices of the University President and hosted by Prof. Dr. Ahmedd Abdel-Qader, with contributions from Prof. Mahmoud Sedky El-Hawary and Dr. Abdel-Latif Hassanin.

Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh emphasized that these activities reflect Port Said University’s commitment to enlightening students and enhancing their positive participation in society.
