
In a spiritual Ramadan atmosphere, the Faculty of Law, Port Said University launched its Quran memorization competition in preparation for participation in the “University of Recitation” competition, attracting a large turnout of students eager to memorize the Holy Quran and master its recitation.
The events included a religious seminar titled “The Virtues of the Quran in the Month of Ramadan”, featuring Sheikh Youssef Shams El-Din, Director of the Preaching Department in the Port Said Azhar Region, who discussed the importance of reciting and reflecting upon the Quran and utilizing the blessed days of Ramadan.
The initiative was held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, Supervisor of the Student Welfare Sector, and supervised by Ms. Sarah Galal, Director of the Cultural and Artistic Activities Department, and Mr. Abdel Rahman Ali Imam, Director of Youth Welfare at the Faculty of Law.
This initiative reflects the University’s commitment to promoting religious and cultural awareness and spiritual values among students during the holy month of Ramadan.
