Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, congratulated the Student Welfare Sector on the remarkable achievement in student activities during 2025, affirming that these accomplishments are a source of pride and honor for the entire University.
The University President emphasized that supporting student activities, talented students, and ensuring the full integration of students with special needs into all activities and competitions are among the university’s top priorities. He highlighted the university’s commitment to providing all necessary resources, ensuring equal opportunities, and continuously recognizing outstanding students across various fields.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh explained that the achievements of 2025 are the result of continuous follow-up and direct support from the university administration. This effort led Port Said University to advance to 15th place among Egyptian universities, with the implementation of 500 student activities, compared to 34th place with only 54 activities in 2024, reflecting a significant qualitative and quantitative development in student activities.
On this occasion, the University President extended his sincere congratulations to the Student Welfare Sector, commending the outstanding efforts of Associate Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, General Supervisor of the Student Welfare Sector, along with all staff members of the General Administration for Student Welfare, as well as the directors and supervisors of student welfare across the university’s faculties.
He also conveyed special congratulations to all student teams participating in activities during 2025, praising their distinguished performance and success in achieving top and advanced positions in various competitions.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh concluded by stressing that true investment lies in human capital, reaffirming the university’s continued and full support for student activities as a fundamental pillar in building a well-rounded student personality alongside academic excellence, and enabling students to proudly represent Port Said University in all forums.
