In the frame of Port Said University’s keenness in obtaining international accreditation of laboratories with the support of Prof. Dr Ayman Ibrahim, President of the University, the delegation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research was received for the project of qualifying laboratories for international accreditation of Port Said University. The delegation was received by Prof. Dr Rawya Rizk – Vice President for Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr Osama Saqr, Director of the Project for Qualification of Laboratories for International Accreditation at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Prof. Dr Mahmoud Wafiq Ahmed, Consultant for Qualification of Laboratories for International Accreditation. The reception was in the presence of Prof. Dr Taha Ibrahim Farag, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Project Manager, Prof. Dr Medhat El Zahar – Executive Director of the Concrete and Construction Research Laboratory Accreditation Project, Dr Ezzat Salam – Deputy Executive Director of the Project, Dr Shady Rizk Ragheb – Technical Director of the Concrete and Construction Research Laboratory Accreditation Project. The visit, which aimed to check on the progress of the Concrete and Construction Research Laboratory in preparing for accreditation procedures from the National Accreditation Council (EGAC) in addition to the Public Service Center for scientific and medical laboratories and research at the Faculty of Medicine.
