Under the presidential of Dr Prof. Ayman Mohamed Ibrahim, the university held a video conference workshop with Eng. Wael Khalil, Orange telecom co., attended by experts in the field of information technology from Port Said University and representatives of the company. The conference aimed at presenting characteristics of the proposed systems for distance learning and identifying the mechanisms and procedures required for the electronic transfer of distance education to seize the best offers for the staff, students, and the educational process in general.
In this frame, Dr Prof. Ayman Ibrahim, president of the university, asserted that the university is taking every essential step towards distance education as a necessity all the universities seek to.
