
Under the auspice of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Port Said University participated with distinction in the first judging event of the Folk Arts category at the Creativity 14 Festival for University Youth, held at the Youth City Theater in Alexandria. The event is organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports with the participation of students from universities, institutes, and academies across Egypt.
Port Said University delivered outstanding artistic performances inspired by Egyptian folk heritage, showcasing the richness and diversity of popular culture through creative tableaux that skillfully blended authenticity with a contemporary artistic vision, earning strong appreciation from the judging panel.
The Folk Arts judging panel included a distinguished group of experts:
Dr. Nahla Imam, Professor of Folk Customs, Beliefs, and Knowledge at the Higher Institute of Folk Arts.
Dr. Ahlam Younis, Professor of Design and Directing and former President of the Academy of Arts.
Dr. Atef Awad, Professor of Design and Directing and former Dean of the Higher Institute of Ballet.
The participation was held under the auspice of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of the University, and Assistant Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, Supervisor of the Student Welfare Sector, and under the supervision of the Cultural and Artistic Activity Department at the University.
