
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, received a delegation from the Coptic Orthodox Church in Port Said, headed by Father Paula Saad, who visited to extend their congratulations on the upcoming Eid al-Fitr, on behalf of His Grace Bishop Tadros.
The delegation included Father Youannis Kamel, Father Bemen Saber, Father Armia Fahmy, Dr. Gihan Amirhom, Dr. Josephine Fawzy, and Dr. Magdy.
During the meeting, Father Paula Saad conveyed Bishop Tadros’s greetings and best wishes, praising Port Said University as a distinguished academic institution. In turn, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh expressed his appreciation for the visit, asserring that it reflects the deep-rooted spirit of love, coexistence, and national unity among Egyptians. He also highlighted the important role of religious occasions in reinforcing these values.
Both the University President and the visiting delegation extended their sincere congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, wishing continued progress and prosperity for Egypt.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh further commended the Church’s national and societal role in supporting development efforts. Meanwhile, the delegation expressed their pride in Egypt’s strong sense of national cohesion, affirming their commitment to ongoing cooperation and active participation in various national events.
