Prof. Dr Ayman Ibrahim, President of Port Said University, opened the international symposium to discuss the book: Spiritual Manifestations in Islam “Sufi Texts Throughout History” in cooperation with the Catholic University of Milan. The opening was held online in the presence of Prof. Dr Rawya Rizk, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr Badr Abdel Aziz, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and in the actual presence of Prof. Dr Andrea Canova, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy at the Catholic University, Prof. Dr Marco Rizzi, Head of the Department of Religious Studies at the Faculty of Arts at the Catholic University, Prof. Dr Joseph Piscatolin, author of The Transfigurations, and Prof. Dr Ahmed Hassan at the Faculty of Arts at Port Said University.
