Dr Prof. Ayman Ibrahim, president of the university, participated in the periodical meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities. The meeting was held at the new headquarters of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Administrative Capital. The meeting was under the presidential of Dr Prof. Khalid Abdul Ghafour, minister of higher education and research, and was attended by Dr Prof. Mohamad Latif, chairman for the supreme council of universities, and presidents of the universities. The Minister welcomed the members of the Council for their attendance at the new headquarters of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the new administrative capital. The Minister stressed the readiness of faculties to conduct aptitude tests for high school students to enroll in faculties whose admission is required to pass qualifying capacity tests, and for which it was decided to start registration through the coordination website www.tansik.egypt.gov.eg during the period from today Monday 25 July and will continue until August 6, stressing taking all precautionary and preventive measures to ensure the safety of all members of the academic community, provided that capacity tests are conducted under the direct supervision of university presidents and vice presidents for education and student affairs, to ensure the regularity of exams during the prescribed period.
