
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, continued his inspection tours of the university’s faculties at the start of the new academic year 2025/2026. His second tour was the Faculties of Education and Arts, accompanied by Prof. Amal Khalil, Supervisor of the Education and Student Affairs Sector, Dr. Mohamed Rizk, Supervisor of the University Dormitories Sector, and Ms. Samia El-Mesilhy, Secretary-General of the University. They were warmly received by Prof. Dr. Badr Abdel Aziz Badr, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Dr. Rehab Abdel Aziz, Dean of the Faculty of Education, alongside student representatives from both faculties and members of the Students for Egypt family.
Following a welcoming address from the deans, the University President held an extensive meeting with faculty members, administrative staff, and students, during which he:
Reviewed the university’s achievements across various sectors.
Highlighted efforts to implement digital transformation and automation throughout the university.
Thanked the International Relations team for their work and praised Dr. Ahmed Hassan for attracting a large number of visiting professors.
Commended the progress made in developing the university dormitories.
Expressed pride in the successful trial opening of the University Hospital as a major medical achievement for Port Said and neighboring governorates.
Addressing students, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh emphasized:
The importance of hard work and dedication as the path to success.
Commitment to the university’s ethical charter and academic values.
Preserving the university’s facilities as a shared responsibility.
He also announced preparations for a major international conference to be hosted at Port Said University and stressed the importance of caring for students with different abilities, ensuring they receive full support and services.
At the end of the visit, he expressed his happiness at being among the students of both faculties and wished them a successful and fruitful academic year.
