PSU President Affirms Integration Between Science and Pharmacy Faculties to Strengthen Institutional Performance

Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, affirmed the university administration’s commitment to developing administrative performance and maximizing the utilization of human resources across its faculties. This came during a comprehensive meeting with the leadership of the Faculties of Science and Pharmacy, attended by the deans, faculty secretaries, human resources officials, and the university’s restructuring committee.

The university president explained that these meetings are part of the ongoing follow-up of the administrative work system within the university’s faculties, aiming to define career paths for administrative staff members in line with the actual needs of each faculty. He emphasized the importance of integration and coordination between the Faculties of Science and Pharmacy, particularly in shared administrative departments, to ensure the optimal use of administrative expertise.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh reviewed the university administration’s current vision, which focuses on the efficient allocation of human resources according to the nature of work within each faculty. He also highlighted efforts to develop the document workflow by reviewing financial and administrative regulations, simplifying procedures, and implementing a system of employee rotation between departments to broaden staff experience and enhance administrative performance.

Prof.Dr. Sherif Saleh further affirmed the university’s commitment to implementing specialized training programs aimed at enhancing the efficiency and skills of administrative staff members. He also noted that the university seeks to provide opportunities for income enhancement for outstanding employees, contributing to a supportive work environment and strengthening institutional loyalty.

In the same context, the university president stressed the importance of organizing joint student activities between the Faculties of Science and Pharmacy, which help develop students’ scientific and research skills and encourage their participation in local and international scientific competitions and events.
