
Port Said University, represented by Assistant Prof. Dr. Amer Ismail, a member of the University Ranking Committee, took part in the International Symposium for University Presidents from Developing Countries. The symposium was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Chinese Embassy in Cairo, and was organized by Northeast Normal University from September 4 to 17, 2025, across the cities of Changchun, Beijing, and Shanghai.
The event brought together 25 university presidents representing six African countries, with the aim of exchanging experiences and strengthening cooperation in the development of higher education and university administration.
As part of the program, participants conducted field visits to several leading institutions, including the Beijing National Institute of Technology, Beijing Normal University, Shanghai University, and Shanghai Normal University. These visits provided valuable opportunities to explore advanced infrastructure, cutting-edge technologies, and modern management practices applied in Chinese universities.
