In the frame of the attention paid by the government to the urban development, Dr Prof. Ayman Ibrahim, president of the university, and Dr Prof. Hassan Mohammad Hassan, dean of the faculty of engineering, and Dr Pro. Naglaa Megahed, head of architecture department, the faculty of engineering participates in preparing the conditions for organizing the construction and architecture plaining at Port Said and North Sinai. This is in coordination with the Armed Force Engineering Authority and the efforts of the teamwork: Eng. Mustafa el- Ziny, Eng. Marwa Fouad, and Eng Lina Ahmad. This is in collaboration with Port Said Governorate represented by Eng. Amr Othman, secretary of Governor of Port Said, and Eng. Emad el- Bursha, undersecretary at the ministry of housing, Eng. Nermeen Nashaat, architecture department. And from North Sinai governorate: Sir Major General Hesham el- Kholy, undersecretary of the governor, and Eng. Hosam el- Sherief, architecture department.
