Dr Prof. Ayman Mohamed Ibrahim, President of Port Said University, participated in the opening of the International Maritime Transport and Logistics Conference “Marlog 11”, which was held under the auspice of Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, and Lieutenant-General Kamel El Wazir, Minister of Transport. The conference was organized by the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport under the title “Towards a Sustainable Blue Economy”, and took place in Alexandria. The conference witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Port Said University. The conference came out with a number of important recommendations that have a role in the process of developing and improving ports in Egypt and the Arab region.
