Promoting Inclusion and Awareness of the Rights of Students with Disabilities

Port Said University Office for People with Disabilities (Able Differently) participated in the activities of the Tamkeen Initiative (the comprehensive campaign for the universities of the Canal Region and Sinai “to integrate students with disabilities and raise their awareness of their rights), in cooperation with the global “Hope Givers” campaign. The opening activities were held at Suez Canal University under the auspices of Prof. Dr Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education. A delegation from Port Said University participated under the auspices of Prof. Dr Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, and Assistant Prof. Dr Ahmed Bayoumi, Supervisor of the General Administration of Student Care, and in the presence of Prof. Dr Nasser Mandour, President of Suez Canal University, Prof. Dr Karim Hammam, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education for Student Activities, Prof. Dr Sherine Yahya, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education for People with Disabilities, Prof. Dr Mohamed Abdel Naeem, Vice President of Suez Canal University for Education and Student Affairs, while the delegation from Port Said University headed by Mohamed Tamam, Head of the Office for People with Disabilities.
