President of Port Said University: Administrative Staff Are Key Partners in Success… We Continue Building a More Efficient Administrative Apparatus

Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, affirmed that the university’s administrative staff are key partners in its success and development, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to improving the work environment, developing administrative and financial regulations and systems, ensuring fairness and transparency, rewarding diligence, and empowering young leaders.

This came during an extensive meeting held by the university president with members of the administrative staff at the main auditorium of the university’s main campus, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Amal Khalil, Supervisor of the Education and Student Affairs Sector, and Ms. Samia El-Moselhy, Secretary General of the University, along with administrative leaders and staff from various departments and units.

At the outset, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh congratulated the university community on the approaching Prophet’s Birthday, wishing continued prosperity and blessings for the university community and Egypt.

The university president reviewed the most significant achievements and developments witnessed by Port Said University during the past period, emphasizing that these accomplishments were the result of teamwork, cooperation, and integration among the university’s various sectors, with the administrative apparatus serving as a fundamental pillar of this success.

He noted that the university is working to develop regulations and systems that ensure fairness in resource allocation according to actual needs and contribute to improving employees’ working conditions, within a framework of governance, transparency, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. He also reaffirmed the university’s commitment to rewarding diligence and promoting equal opportunities for excellence.

Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh stated: “Through cooperation, we have been able to overcome many challenges, and we now stand on solid ground, continuing together the journey of development and modernization that we began together.”

He emphasized that the next phase will focus on further developing administrative performance and investing in human capital, particularly through preparing and empowering the next generation of young leaders, developing their skills through continuous training, and benefiting from the programs offered by the University Center for Professional Development.

He also noted that the relocation of the administrative apparatus to the new building represents an important step toward improving the work environment, affirming the university’s commitment to completing the necessary preparations and providing departments with the resources required to perform their duties efficiently.

The meeting featured an open dialogue between the university president and members of the administrative staff, during which he listened to their opinions, suggestions, and requests. He affirmed his commitment to studying these proposals and following up with the relevant authorities to address them within the university’s available resources and applicable regulations.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh expressed his appreciation to the administrative staff for their efforts, stressing that the success of Port Said University is a shared responsibility that requires the concerted efforts of faculty members, administrative staff, and students.
