
As part of Port Said University’s commitment to its community and development role, and under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Saleh, University President, the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Kamel Farah, Supervisor of Environmental Projects, and with the organization and support of Ms. Nevin Marzouk, Director General of the General Administration for Environmental Projects, the General Administration for Projects – Community Service and Environmental Development Sector organized a specialized ophthalmology medical convoy to serve residents of villages in South Port Said.

The convoy was led by Prof. Dr. Ehab Ghoneim, Professor and Head of the Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine, alongside a distinguished team of faculty members and teaching assistants from the department.
Held under the slogan “Your Eyes Are My Eyes,” the initiative provided free medical examinations, diagnoses, and appropriate treatment to residents of the most underserved villages, reflecting the university’s commitment to advancing healthcare and strengthening its role in community service.
