
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, welcomed the team of “Live from Port Said” on Suez Canal Radio. The meeting was conducted by journalist Mohamed Saad, Director General of Suez Canal Radio, and attended by Nelly Kamal, producer and director, and engineer Khaled Rashed.
During the meeting, Mohamed Saad praised the remarkable progress achieved by Port Said University, highlighting the hosting of the periodic meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities, chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, alongside the inauguration of several major service projects.
The discussion shed light on the university’s distinguished position and the rapid completion of development projects in line with a clear strategic vision. The University President also expressed appreciation for former university presidents and reviewed the efforts of the International Relations Department in strengthening the university’s global academic presence.
Prof. Dr Sherif Saleh emphasized the success of hosting the Supreme Council of Universities’ events, which included the inauguration of key projects such as the University Hospital, the Olympic swimming pool at the Faculty of Sports Sciences, the large administrative and educational building, and the radio and television studio.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the University President extended his thanks to faculty members, staff, and students for their continued efforts, congratulated them on the New Year, and wished Egypt continued security, stability, and progress.
