
Under the auspice of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, and the supervision and follow-up of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, Supervisor of Student Affairs and Coordinator of the Students for Egypt Club, the Faculty of Specific Education organized an awareness seminar as part of the initiative: “Save It… Light It Up” to promote rational electricity consumption, with the participation of a number of students.
The seminar was delivered by Eng. Khaled Mohamed Attia, General Manager of the General Maintenance Department in Port Said Networks Sector, who highlighted the importance of energy conservation and shared simple daily practices that help reduce consumption and preserve resources.
The event was organized under the supervision of the University’s Social Activities Department, led by Mr. Ibrahim El-Nems, Director of the Department and Campaign Coordinator, and Ms. Azza Othman, Campaign Coordinator, with the participation of Prof. Dr. Mona Zeitoun, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research and Coordinator of the Students for Egypt Club at the Faculty.
This initiative reflects Port Said University’s commitment to raising awareness, promoting a culture of conservation, and supporting national efforts toward sustainability and energy efficiency.
