Under the auspice of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, Supervisor of the Student Welfare Sector at the University, the Cultural and Artistic Activities Department organized on Monday, September 15, the “Prince of Poets” competition—an event aimed at highlighting the poetic talents of the university’s students.
The judging panel was chaired by Dr. Mohamed Shaaban, Professor of Arabic Language at the Faculty of Arts.
The results of the competition were as follows:
- Omar Salem Mabrouk Salem (Faculty of Nursing) won first place and the title of Prince of Poets.
- Sama Tarek Taha Hussein (Faculty of Science) won second place.
- Hassan Abdo Ibrahim (Faculty of Science) won third place.
The event was held under the supervision and follow-up of:

- Ms. Marwa Mohamed El-Sayed – Student Welfare Specialist
- Mr. Islam Taha Hussein – Sports Specialist
