Judging Begins for the “Television Reporter” Competition at the “Creativity 14” Festival

The first judging events for the “Television Reporter” category have officially begun as part of the Creativity 14 Festival for university students. The festival is organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports through the Central Administration for Youth Development – General Administration for Cultural and Artistic Programs, with participation from students of public and private universities, institutes, and academies across Egypt.

A total of 39 students representing 17 universities and higher education institutions are competing. The finalists include: Zagazig University, Zagazig National University, Damietta University, the Ministry of Higher Education, Al-Azhar University, Tanta University, Sphinx University, Qena University, Assiut University, Minya University, Fayoum University, the Higher Institute of Management and Accounting in Sohag, Menoufia University, Port Said University, Alexandria University, Mansoura University, and Ain Shams University.

The judging panel features a distinguished group of media professionals: director Tamer Shehata; journalist Reham Ibrahim, documentary filmmaker and presenter on Cairo News Channel; and media personality Dr. Mohamed Abdo Badawi, presenter of Good Morning Egypt on Channel One and Talking About Culture on the Egyptian Documentary Channel. The panel is evaluating contestants according to rigorous professional standards.

The participation comes under the auspices of Professor Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of the University, and Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, Supervisor of the Student Welfare Sector, with supervision by the Department of Cultural and Artistic Activities.
