Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, congratulated Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Mostafa Refaat, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Universities, and the Council’s staff on the Council’s achievement of four international ISO certifications, including ISO 37000:2021 for governance and ISO 30401:2018 for knowledge management. With these certifications, the Council becomes the first national entity in Egypt to obtain them with EGAC accreditation.
The University President praised this accomplishment, noting that it reflects the development of the Council’s planning and management systems and its commitment to applying international quality standards. He emphasized that this success supports the state’s efforts to enhance institutional performance in higher education and aligns with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
He also commended the efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education, led by Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, highlighting its developmental vision based on innovation, digital transformation, and strengthened governance—factors that contribute to improving the quality of education and scientific research and elevating the standing of Egyptian universities.
He concluded by affirming that Port Said University wishes the Supreme Council of Universities and the Ministry of Higher Education continued progress and success.
