Institutional Progress in Focus: PSU President Highlights Administrative Development and Leadership

Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, held an extensive meeting with the leadership of the Faculties of Engineering, Commerce, Medicine, and Physical Therapy, in the presence of deans, faculty secretaries, human resources officials, and the restructuring committee, to follow up on efforts to develop the administrative system.

During the meeting, he stressed that advancing the administrative apparatus is a top priority to enhance institutional performance. He also highlighted the importance of aligning staff numbers with actual workload to improve efficiency.

The President further emphasized the implementation of a fair and transparent staff distribution system across faculties, strengthening cooperation among similar departments while maintaining each faculty’s administrative independence, and promoting staff rotation to support knowledge exchange and capacity building. In addition, he underscored the role of activating complaints and suggestions systems in improving the work environment and supporting decision-making.

He concluded by noting that recent evaluations revealed the presence of highly qualified and distinguished personnel, affirming that the coming phase will place greater focus on investing in human capital as the cornerstone of sustainable institutional development.
