Under the auspice of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, and the supervision and follow-up of Assist Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, Supervisor of the Student Welfare Affairs Sector and Coordinator of the Students for Egypt Family, the Social Activities Department of the General Administration of Student Welfare and the Students for Egypt Family organized the Ideal Student Competition at the university level. This competition affirms the university leadership’s support for student excellence in various fields, such as sports, science, culture, and society, as well as excellence in various student activities. The judging panel included:
- Assist Prof. Dr. Mona Zeitoun, Head of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, Faculty of Specific Education
- Dr. Marwa Al-Aleedi, Assistant Supervisor of the Arts and Humanities Sector and Coordinator of the Specialized Translation Program in English
- Mr. Ibrahim Al-Nams, Director of the Social Activities Department
The competition resulted in three male and three female students winning first place, as follows:
Ideal Male Student:
- First Place: Murad Alaa El-Din Tag El-Din Hafez, Faculty of Management Technology and Information Systems.
- Second place: Yassin Abbas El-Sayed – College of Nursing.
- Third place: Amr Mohamed Zein – College of Engineering.
Ideal Female Student:
- First place: Renad Mahgoub Mabrouk – College of Management Technology and Information Systems.
- Second place: Lina Mustafa El-Sayed – College of Science.
- Third place: Yara Ehab Mohamed Anis – College of Pharmacy.
