Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, received Mr. Nikolaos Papageorgiou, Ambassador of Greece to the Arab Republic of Egypt, to discuss frameworks for joint cooperation between Port Said University and a number of Greek universities. During the meeting, several important topics were discussed, most notably the preparation for the signing of memoranda of understanding aimed at establishing joint or dual degrees, participation in international research projects, and the exchange of visits between faculty members and students from both sides, which would contribute to raising the efficiency of the educational and research process within the university. At the conclusion of the meeting, shields and commemorative gifts were exchanged, and photos were taken to document this event, which represents an important step towards a new beginning in academic relations between the two sides.
