Dr Prof. Ayman Mohamed Ibrahim, President of Port Said University, received a delegation from Ferjana University from Uzbekistan to discuss aspects of joint cooperation between the two universities. The delegation was represented by Dr. Jakhonberov Elimdorgon – Vice President of Ferjana University for International Cooperation, and Dr. Dekhkhanov Sherzod – Assistant Professor in the Department of Administration at university.
The reception witnessed the presence of Dr Prof. Rawya Yahya Rizk – Vice President of Port Said University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr Prof. Hassan Mohamed Hassan – Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Dr Prof. Sherif Abu El-Anin – International Relations Coordinator and Director of the International Relations Office of the Office of Taiko and visit coordinator, Dr Prof. Mohamed Kamel Hassan – Director of the Taiko office at the university, heads and representatives of the departments of the Faculty of Engineering: Dr Prof. Naglaa Mujahid, Dr Prof. Mohamed Bassiouni, Dr Prof. Ibrahim Abdel Rahman and Dr Ahmed Refaat, in addition to the cultural attaché at the Uzbek Embassy.
The President of Port Said University stressed the university’s keenness on international cooperation, which is the exchange of students and faculty members and participation in scientific research and research projects. He also stressed on the importance of the impact of this cooperation on the university’s rating.
Then, the President of Port Said University and Vice President of Ferjana University exchanged shields. After that, the delegation moved to the faculty of Engineering to visit the laboratory building where they were introduced to the various disciplines and the library.
